Watad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Nasaq Engineering Consultants during Big 5 Construct Saudi 2026, establishing a collaboration aimed at supporting the development of Watad’s platform for real estate developers and aligning it more closely with real project needs.

Under the MoU, Nasaq will join as a design partner for the developer platform, contributing its engineering expertise and practical insights to help shape features and solutions that reflect the challenges developers and project teams face in managing procurement, approvals, and project execution.

The collaboration is based on the importance of developing technology around real user experience within projects. Involving engineering and consulting firms at the design stage can help create a platform that better reflects day-to-day workflows and more effectively supports technical and financial decisions related to procurement.

Through its real estate developer platform, Watad is working to provide greater visibility into procurement activity across projects, including contractor purchasing, technical and financial approvals, and connected procurement and execution data within one experience that supports better oversight and decision-making.
