Watad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tameer Steel during Big 5 Construct Saudi 2026, establishing a collaboration aimed at strengthening project access to reliable steel supply and supporting demand coverage across the Western and Central regions of Saudi Arabia.

The collaboration focuses on leveraging Tameer Steel’s supply capabilities to expand the range of sourcing options available through Watad, helping contractors and procurement teams secure project requirements more efficiently, particularly for essential materials whose availability directly affects execution plans and project timelines.

Through this cooperation, Watad aims to connect project demand with more responsive and geographically accessible sources of supply, enhancing supply chain flexibility and reducing challenges related to securing the required steel quantities across different regions of the Kingdom.

Watad’s platform enables project teams to manage the procurement cycle in one place, from issuing RFQs and comparing quotations to purchase orders, delivery tracking, and payment, providing greater visibility and control throughout the purchasing process.
